As Chief Technology Officer at Legacy.com, Joel Grossman leads the team responsible for the design, development, and delivery of the Legacy.com technology platform. Prior to joining Legacy.com, Joel was CTO for iProspect, the leading digital performance agency. Previously, Joel held senior technology and operations roles at Leapfrog Online, an independent digital marketing agency, serving as a member of the executive team which completed Leapfrog’s acquisition by Dentsu Aegis Network. Joel was the Founder and Managing Principal of Pivotal Click, a digital product development firm focused on online customer acquisition, acquired by Leapfrog in 2008. He brings more than 15 years of experience at the intersection of technology, marketing and business, having held senior positions with Playboy Enterprises and Encyclopaedia Britannica, as well as heading up product development for Edventions, a start-up acquired by Edison Schools. Joel is an active member of Chicago’s entrepreneurial community, as a founding mentor at Techstars Chicago, and an advisor to several startups. A native of Chicago, Illinois, he earned a Bachelor’s degree with Honors from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master’s in Political Economy from the University of Minnesota.
